Isla Padres Con Voz Lideres

ISLA Padres con Voz Lideres is an extension program from Padres con Voz. It is a support network where participants share their children’s challenges, collaborate to explore avenues of support they need from ISLA, and develop a work plan to achieve their goals.

THE LOGISTICS

Monthly meetings designed to discuss educational and advocacy topics.
Padres (parents) are from are from Durham, Orange, Wake, Chatham and Alamance County.
Upon graduation, they have the opportunity to discuss their experiences with the program and become facilitators for the new participants in Padres con Voz.

Note: Participant parents do not have to have a child in ISLA Los Sabados they just need to have a child in school and selection poses on whether there is good variation in age and number.
